PwC is a huge international firm that offers services in tax and auditing as well as consultancy. The consultancy work focuses on Performance Improvement and Crisis Management, mainly in the financial sector. Their clients are diverse and include firms such as Vodafone, EDF Energy and the Rigby Group.

PwC have offices all over the world, and employs over 15,000 people in the UK. They have been voted the top graduate employer by The Times 10 years running.

Deloitte

Deloitte is one of the largest professional services firms in the world and provides consulting services in more than 100 countries. Like many professional services firms, they offer auditing and tax services as well as consulting. Their consultancy services are spread over areas including: Digital Enterprise, Business Transformation, Customer Transformation, Strategy & Operations and Human Capital.

KPMG

KPMG offers financial and professional services in more than 145 countries throughout the world. Their consulting services include operational transformation, financial management, people and change management, IT advisory, and financial & business modelling.

KPMG employs over 123,000 people globally, and has been voted the third best graduate employer in the UK. Famous ex-employees include Kevin Rudd, the former Prime Minister of Australia.

Accenture

By revenue, Accenture is said to be the largest consulting firm in the world. It focuses mainly on management consulting, and offers help with Strategy, Finance Management, Customer Relationship Management and Workforce Performance, among others.

Accenture employs around 280,000 people in more than 50 different countries.

McKinsey & Company

McKinsey & Co is one of the world’s top management consulting firms. They have been around for over 80 years, establishing themselves in the US in the 1930s with innovative management solutions. McKinsey was one of the first consultancy firms to hire graduates rather than relying on older industry professionals.

McKinsey has o been voted the top consulting firm for the last five years on Vault.com many times, and in 2011 was called the "most prestigious consulting firm of all" by the New York Times. Former clients include the BBC, telecoms company AT&T, and the British Cabinet Office.
